Dittons is a friendly club, always keen to welcome new members, previous rowing and punting experience is not required.

It’s up to you whether you want row or punt recreationally or if you want to take part in regattas and race.

If you want to go further, there’s the opportunity to take part in events such as the Great River Race from Canary Wharf to Richmond or join an expedition down the navigable, non-tidal Thames from Lechlade to Teddington. Whether you only fancy an outing once a week or wish to train more frequently, you will find other members with a similar level of interest.

  • We offer taster sessions, Learn to Row courses, rowing for Juniors, skiffing and punting.
  • Our club house has wonderful views over the river and into Hampton Court Palace Gardens.
  • We compete against other local skiff and punting clubs at regattas throughout the summer season.
  • We have a gym which includes rowing machines (ergos) a multi gym and free weights.
  • Our club house offers fantastic facilities to all members; our own bar, a kitchen suitable for mass catering and a large flexible club room.

Dittons Skiff & Punting Club has a busy social calendar throughout the year and the club house is available for private use to members.

If you are interested then come to our taster sessions to give it a try.

Once you have been trained at our taster sessions,  we then look forward to you joining us at one of the following regular sessions:

  • Monday nights from April to September punting.
  • Tuesday & Thursday club nights.
  • The skiffing social outing on Friday morning.
  • ‘Bridge to Bridge’ skiffing (Hampton Court to Kingston) on Saturdays.
  • Sunday mornings, we hold adults and also junior sessions.
  • Regattas – every weekend through the summer.
  • The many club social events.
