About Dittons Skiff & Punting Club
The Dittons Skiff & Punting Club is situated in an idyllic riverside location in Thames Ditton overlooking Hampton Court Palace’s Home Park.
It is a fantastic location, 10 minutes walk from Thames Ditton train station, a short drive from Kingston, Surbiton or Hampton Court. The club is very much in the heart of Thames Ditton village, next door to the Albany Pub.
We have easy access onto a fabulous stretch of the river running from Hampton Court Bridge to Kingston Bridge and access both up and down stream from there. A prime rowing location with Hampton Court Palace in view from the club house and balcony.
Boat house
We enjoy our sports to all levels from social outings to racing at the regular regattas held on the Thames.
Our large fleet of traditional hand-built Thames skiffs and punts are stored in the ground floor boathouse and available all year round to members to enjoy their chosen activity whenever suits them or during scheduled training sessions. Training and coaching is provided on the water supplemented by land based training in the small but well equipped gym.
Club house
The club house offers fantastic facilities to all our members with our own well stocked bar, a kitchen suitable for catering for social events and a large club room and balcony which have wonderful river views.
The club house regularly hosts social events through out the year, from Christmas lunches, to drinks parties, pub quizzes and end of season suppers. It can also be used by members for private events.
